After graduating in 2004 from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, current President Jack Lorbacher, a Durham native, took over the family business that was Affordable Welding & Fabricating Co.

As the company name changed to Atlantic Welding & Fabrication Co. on October 17th 2011, Jack continued to demonstrate principles of hard work, quality service and strong customer relationships. These characteristics have earned this organization a reputation as a company that is desirable to work with.

Jack is married with 2 kids.

Duane joined Atlantic Welding in 2010 after working 13 years as a trim carpenter.  He prepares material and sets up the job for the welders. His experience is key to the everyday operations. He has one son, Hunter and lives in Durham.

Tyler joined Atlantic Welding in 2016.  He has been a certified welder for several years and brings that experience and attention to detail to each and every project he works on.

Tyler is married and has 1 kid.

Sean started at Atlantic Welding in 2019.  Before joining, he obtained a 2-year welding degree from Vance Granville.

Sean is married

David started at Atlantic Welding in 2023.  Before that, he spent 5 years welding on submarines in Chesapeake.

David is from Henderson and is married with two kids.
